This policy explains how Distorted Studios accesses and uses data through third-party platform APIs, including the Pinterest API. It is written in accordance with applicable platform developer guidelines and supplements our general Privacy Policy.
01

Who we are

Distorted Studios is a Copenhagen-based studio that builds automated revenue systems for businesses. As part of our services, we connect to third-party platform APIs — including the Pinterest API — to manage and automate marketing on behalf of our clients.

Contact us at fm@distortedstudios.dk for any privacy-related questions.

02

How we access your account

We access third-party platform accounts exclusively through their official OAuth 2.0 authentication systems. We never ask for, collect, or store your passwords or login credentials for any platform.

Access is only established with your explicit authorisation. You may revoke our access at any time through the relevant platform's security settings.

03

What data we access

Depending on the services you engage us for, we may request access to the following data via platform APIs on your behalf:

We request only the minimum permissions required to deliver the services you have specifically requested.

04

Data storage

In accordance with platform developer guidelines, we do not store data retrieved via third-party APIs, with the exception of campaign analytics data relating to your own account.

Each time our platform needs to display or act on account information, it calls the relevant API directly in real time. No account data is cached or retained on our servers beyond what is technically necessary to complete each individual request.

The only data we retain is campaign analytics for your own account, as permitted under applicable platform developer guidelines.
05

How we use your data

Your account data is used solely to provide services to you. Specifically:

We do not combine your account data with data from any other person's account or from any other service. Every action taken through an API is performed on your account, for your benefit, based on your instructions.

06

User consent & actions

No action is taken on your account without your specific knowledge and consent. This includes creating or editing content, managing campaigns, or any other account action.

You remain responsible for the actions taken on your accounts. We do not offer features that automatically initiate actions without your deliberate instruction for each action.

07

Data sharing & third parties

We do not sell, share, or transfer your account data to any third party, including other advertising networks, data brokers, or any other monetisation service.

We do not use information from your accounts to target you or anyone else with advertising outside of the platform it originated from.

08

Advertising services

Where we manage advertising on your behalf, we comply fully with the relevant platform's advertising terms and guidelines. This includes:

09

Security

We keep API access credentials private and do not share them with any third party. We apply appropriate technical measures to protect data processed in connection with our platform integrations, including encrypted transmission via HTTPS and restricted internal access controls.

10

Your rights & revoking access

You can disconnect our access to your accounts at any time by:

Upon disconnection, we will immediately cease any API calls to your account and delete any retained analytics data within 30 days.

11

Platform policies

Your use of third-party platforms is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Our use of their APIs is governed by their respective developer terms and guidelines, including the Pinterest Developer and API Terms of Service and the Pinterest Developer Guidelines.

12

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services or platform requirements. Updates will be reflected with a revised date at the top of this page.
